अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप (Donald Trump) ने आज सोमवार सितम्बर को ट्रुथ सोशल (Truth Social) प्लेटफॉर्म पर विदेशी फिल्मों पर 100% टैरिफ लगाने की घोषणा की है।

Trump ने कहा कि सभी विदेश-निर्मित फिल्मों पर 100% Tariff (टैरिफ) लगाया जायेगा जिसका उद्देश्य अमेरिकी फिल्म निर्माण व्यवसाय की रक्षा करना होगा

उन्होंने कहा, “दूसरे देशों ने AMERICA (अमेरिका) से हमारा फिल्म निर्माण व्यवसाय चुरा लिया है, ठीक वैसे ही जैसे ‘बच्चे से कैंडी’ चुराना।”और यह दावा किया कि यह कदम अमेरिकी फिल्म उद्योग को अंतरराष्ट्रीय प्रतिस्पर्धा से बचाने के लिए उठाया गया है ,

डोनाल्ड ट्रंप (Donald Trump) के इस निर्णय से नेटफ्लिक्स और डिस्कवरी जैसे पॉपुलर प्लेटफॉर्म्स के शेयर पहले दिन ही लगभग 2% तक गिर चुके हैं
